This powerful title sequence designed and executed by Mill+ Director Raj Davsi celebrates the power and strength in standing out from the crowd. Created for Forward Festival 2019, the film was unveiled in Munich and uses CG to portray the truly distinct markings of a fiercely independent black panther.
Raj states ‘The film tells a story of 3 abstract worlds, which form the elements of ‘The Odd One Out’. I really wanted to take the audience on the journey of the panther’s transformation using immaculate CG with sophisticated design language.
The whole story is about embracing your ‘odd’ side and how in today’s society this can often be seen as a negative rather than something to be proud of. I wanted the film to be ambitious and empower the viewer to hone their strength as ‘The Odd One Out’.
